This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is constructed with a **chrome-plated special "W770" Series brass manifold**, 304 stainless steel valve assemblies, solid ceramic plungers, and NBR (Buna-N) O-rings with **specially blended PTFE high and low-pressure seals for high-temperature applications.** Chemical erosion or washout of manifolds in carwash applications can lead to various equipment issues, including pulsation, leaks and pressure loss. Cat Pumps engineers solved the washout issues of standard pumps by developing the "W770" Series manifold. By utilizing corrosion-resistant alloys, chrome-plated finishes and superior sealing surfaces, this design withstands the harsh chemicals used in the carwash industry.
