Description
This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is part of the **Cat Pumps X-Series**, engineered for maximum life in demanding applications such as high-salinity seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO). The model 3642X features duplex stainless steel inlet and discharge manifolds, duplex stainless steel valve assemblies and internal wet-end components, solid ceramic plungers, and standard NBR (Buna-N) low-pressure seals and O-rings.
**X-Series pumps incorporate advanced high-pressure packing technology, delivering up to three times the service life of standard designs in compatible applications. A precision-machined crankcase with upgraded connecting rod and plunger rod materials ensures smooth, continuous-duty performance even at low rpms.**
