Description
This triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump is part of the **Cat Pumps X-Series**, engineered for maximum life in demanding applications such as seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO). The model 3631X features a 316 stainless steel inlet manifold, duplex stainless steel discharge manifold, 316 stainless steel valve assemblies, solid ceramic plungers, and standard NBR (Buna-N) low-pressure seals and O-rings.
**X-Series pumps incorporate advanced high-pressure packing technology, delivering up to three times the service life of standard designs in compatible applications. A precision-machined crankcase with upgraded connecting rod and plunger rod materials ensures smooth, continuous-duty performance even at low rpms.**
