Description
This is a triplex (three plunger rods) positive displacement, reciprocating plunger pump constructed of 316 stainless steel manifolds, 316 stainless steel valve assemblies, solid ceramic plungers, and standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and O-rings.
The "C" indicates the pump is built with a unique flushed inlet manifold that permits an external liquid to provide added cooling for high-temperature fluids and lubrication for low-lubricity liquids like DI (deionized) water. When used with the 990663 Flushing Assembly, the package offers a self-contained fluid source for pumping through the flushed manifold.
**High-strength connecting rods and plunger rods allow high flow and operating pressure for intermittent use on this "HS" Series pump.** Intermittent use is defined as operating the pump at the maximum rated flow and pressure for no more than 50% of the time in any given hour.
